The Kingman Tavern Historical Museum is a 4-building complex that includes a 17-room early 1800s house which was once a tavern; a two-storey barn; a carriage shed; and an 1840s cider mill. The house includes a replica of a 1900 country store and a schoolroom.

The 5,000 artifacts on display in the complex reflect life in Cummington for the past 200 years, including household items, clothing, children's toys, a working loom, a reed organ, farm tools and equipment, and paintings by Phil Hicken, Ned Hayden, Paul Wieghardt, Gustav Wolf, and Holcomb York. The Museum collection also includes 17 miniature rooms by Alice Steele.

The Kingman Tavern Historical Museum is owned by the Town of Cummington and operated by the Cummington Historical Commission
